Much like an Islander, a Beginner is a character that does not choose a class and continues to level up using only the basic skills that you start with. Unlike an Islander, a Beginner is classified once the player leaves Maple Island, but does not choose a class while in Victoria Island. While some players have made notable success as Beginners, the character is not easy to play and requires a well versed knowledge of the game, expensive gear, and friends to whom they can leech exp from. Because of this, it is not recommended for a new, inexperienced player, to make this decision as they can lose out on SP (Skill Points) if they decide they need a class later. Since these types of players do not have a selected class with respective skills, they rely heavily on Beginner Skills.
